On Tuesday off the New Hampshire coast, a whale breach caused a boat to capsize, sending two people overboard, according to the Coast Guard.

Video footage shows the whale leaping out of the water and landing on the boat, leading to its overturn. A mayday call was made, and nearby boaters quickly came to the rescue.

The Coast Guard praised the rescuers, saying, "We are grateful to the good Samaritans for their swift action. Bravo Zulu!" Both boaters were unharmed, and the boat was salvaged. The whale also appeared to be unharmed.

Greg Paquette, one of the individuals who fell into the water, described the chaotic moment: "It all happened in four seconds, but it felt like much longer," he told Good Morning America.

Teenage brothers Wyatt and Colin Yager, who were on a nearby boat, recorded the incident and helped rescue Paquette and Ryland Kenney, the other person thrown overboard. "It was a shock," Wyatt Yager said. "We immediately jumped into action to get them out of the water."
